Santa Rosa: Where California Dreams Come True

ABOUT SANTA ROSA

Santa Rosa is is currently the largest city in California's Wine Country and the North Bay. It holds the distinction of being the fifth most populous city in the San Francisco Bay Area, following San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, and Fremont. Moreover, Santa Rosa ranks as the 26th most populous city in all of California.

The city of Santa Rosa can be thought of as four distinct quadrants: Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, and Northwest. U.S. Route 101 serves as a major north-south artery running through the middle, creating an east-west divide. Meanwhile, State Route 12 runs from east to west, splitting the city into northern and southern halves.

Discovering Santa Rosa’s Charm

Located just 55 miles north of San Francisco, Sonoma County offers vibrant and diverse landscapes that embody the very essence of California living. Here, wine country meets farm country, and you'll find redwood forests, pristine rivers, beautiful lakes, and the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean all within an hour’s drive. It’s truly an incredible place to call home. At the heart of Santa Rosa lies a charming and thriving downtown area - its streets lined with an array of intriguing shops and restaurants. Whether you're a casual diner or a passionate foodie, you’re sure to uncover culinary delights to satisfy your palate. Some of my personal favorite Santa Rosa restaurants include Augie’s on Fifth, Lococos Cucina, and The Cantina, just to name a few. If you’re up for a 10 minute drive, you’ll find my favorite burger at Carmen’s Burger Bar off of Mark West Springs Road. Don’t say I didn’t tell you.

The City Designed For Living

Fun Fact! For many years, the city's slogan was "The City Designed For Living." And when it comes to the Sonoma County real estate market, it couldn’t be more true! Every single day, people move into Santa Rosa from all over the state, country, and especially within other areas of our own local community. Have you been thinking Santa Rosa may be your next home? Wine country real estate is as diverse as its landscape, and it's waiting for you to discover which neighborhood feels tailor fit for your next chapter. Whether you're seeking a permanent residence, a vacation getaway, or an investment opportunity, Sonoma County welcomes you to explore its unique charm and ever-growing community.
